WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF THE ”SIDEWAYS” DESIGN OF THE PDX a2S? It allows for scratch DJ’s / turntablists to reach all of the turntable’s functions precisely in their preferred console style. For many years DJ’s have been turning ”standard” turntables sideways so that a greater percentage of the platter can be used without bumping the tine arm during performance. However, this has meant that the pitch fader has been quite out of reach and has made it difficult for quick adjustments. The PDX a2S has relocated the pitch fader for this reason, and has been able to offer two start/stop buttons for ease of use in DJ performances.
