A complete standalone console package with 32 channels of analogue input to 27 analogue outputs, plus 6 digital inputs, 4 Stereo FX Returns and 6 digital outputs in one chassis. As standard, Input to mix capacity is 46chs, but by adding a stagebox (compatible with the existing Vi racks), simultaneous channel count increases to 64. Channels are routable to 24 multifunction busses, plus LR and Mono Mix busses. Up to 8 of the busses can be configured as Matrix mixes, each with up to 16 sources. The surface is just over a metre wide, and includes 16 motorised channel faders with fixed and user-definable layers, 8 output/VCA faders and 2 master faders. Vi1 Soundcraft’s flagship large-format digital mixing console. Vistonics™ II user interface with FaderGlow™ fader function display. Touch-screen colour TFT monitor screens with integral rotary controls and switches mounted in the glass. 64 mono inputs into 35 outputs. Pairs of mono inputs can be linked to create stereo channels. 24 insert send/return pairs can be configured and assigned to any of the 64 inputs or 35 outputs. All 64 input channels can have direct outputs in addition to their internal bus routing. 32 Grp/Aux/ Matrix, plus main LCR Mix and LR Solo busses. Connection from local rack to stagebox via standard fit Cat5 or Cat7 cable, with Amphenol RJF connectors or optional fibre optical interface card. Max distance, local rack to stagebox: 80m using flexible reel-mounted Cat5 cable, 130m using Cat7 permanent installation cable. 16 GPIO contact closure inputs and outputs on the local rack, and 8 inputs and outputs on the stagebox. One MIDI In and two MIDI Outs. Controls for Mute Group (x 4) and VCA Group (x 16) assignment. Soundcraft now offers a Vi Series control surface for applications where space is very tight. The new Soundcraft Vi2 inherits all the basic functionality of its larger brothers the Vi4 and Vi6, but measures just 850mm in width, around half the size of a Vi6. The Soundcraft Vi2 is equipped with one channel section of 8 input faders, and the master section which holds 12 faders. The Vi2 can handle as many inputs as a Vi4 or Vi6 (72 and 96 channels respectively) using the standard stagebox and local rack hardware, with access to 8 inputs at a time on the channel bay. The B800 is a specialised yet highly flexible modular broadcast mixer, drawing on Soundcraft’s experience of designing and customising consoles for the broadcast audio market. Modules are connected to internal bussing via motherboard construction, audio connections are via balanced XLRs, and all internal mix busses are balanced to achieve a high degree of isolation, noise and interference rejection, and robust signal handling. Five frame sizes, accepting up to 48 inputs. 8 mono or 4 stereo groups, two fully independent stereo master output modules. 6 mono and 2 stereo aux sends. Extensive monitoring and cue facilities and several sets of speaker and phones outputs. 4 VCA groups. Frame includes PSU. Meterbridge includes cue speaker, talkback XLR and meter selector. Blank panels should be included where necessary to complete the frame/meterbridge space.
