Vicon Introduces High Definition Surveyor MKII Camera Domes with PTZ and 30X Optical Zoom These new ONVIF compliant domes offer improved stability and PoE Hauppauge, NY | March 16, 2017: Vicon Industries, Inc. (VII: NYSE‐MKT) (“Vicon”), trusted designer and producer of video security systems and high‐performance IP cameras, has introduced the Surveyor® MKII camera line, a new generation of HD PTZ domes that offers powerful optical zoom (30x) and a host of high‐performance features at a lower price. These new pan‐tilt‐zoom cameras are designed for use in applications that require significant optical zoom with unmatched visual clarity and identification. With a choice of outdoor, impact‐resistant and pressurized housings, combined with features like PoE+ (for full functionality even when used with the heater engaged), defog mode, wide dynamic range and digital noise reduction, the Surveyor MKII cameras are designed to perform in the toughest weather and lighting conditions. They support ONVIF open platform Profile S, making them compatible with all leading video management solutions, and feature an SD card slot for local recording.
