18” long excursion woofers, featuring a special spider to maintain performance through the years.
• Very high power handling capacity (2100 Watts AES, 8400 Watts peak) and sound pressure (144dB peak at 1 metre).
• Woofers mounted in separate chambers ensure operation even in the event of the breakage of one component; possibility of connecting two different signals, stereo, and/or use of two separate amplification channels.
• The cabinet is reinforced internally to ensure the utmost sturdiness, eliminating coloration due to resonance.
APPLICATIONS
• No-nonsense use wherever high-power sound at frequencies of just above 45Hz, for example between the subwoofer and satellite of a sound system.
• Techno clubs, rave parties, etc.

Low frequency system with enormous power handling and ultra-compact dimensions compared to the performance. Uses no less than three 18” long excursion woofers with 4” copper voice coil. The system consists in three sub-systems of the band-pass and 4th order phase inversion type with a tuned chamber, physically coupled in parallel in a single cabinet forming a single group ideal for very powerful reproduction of programs with a high low frequency content, as is the case in certain live music events and in discos. The useable frequency band at –10dB goes from 42Hz to 280Hz. The complete system’s frequency response, measured on-axis, AES standards, is within +/3dB from 50Hz to 200Hz. In full space, according to AES standards, and driven with 1W at rated impedance, the system produces 102dBSPL at 1m, whereas standing on the floor and driven in 2π (half space) configuration, the system has a sensitivity of 105dBSPL at 1m and is able to give a maximum peak sound pressure of 141 and 144dBSPL at 1m respectively in the same acoustic conditions, driven at maximum peak power (8400 Watts); at minimum impedance (3 Ohms), it’s able to handle 2100 Watts (continuous) AES. The parallelepiped cabinet is built in high quality 15mm Baltic birch plywood. Inside it’s divided into six chambers, two for each woofer. The cabinet is finished in quality scratch-resistant black paint. The connector is a Neutrik Speakon NL4. Two speakers are connected in parallel (minimum impedance 3.6 Ohms) to contacts 2+ and 2- and the third connected to 1+ and 1-, with a minimum impedance of 7.2 Ohms. This configuration facilitates the choice of the amplifier or amplifiers to use for correct driving. The cabinet has 4 useful handles recessed in the side panels for positive grip during handling. A set of sturdy smooth-running wheels facilitates transport even on rather rough ground. A front covering in black foam with anti-vibration aluminium grilles protects the loudspeakers. The system’s market name is VICTOR DISCO.
