CAMERA SETUP
Using Night Vision
The camera has eight night vision LEDs so you can see a clear picture in the dark. This night vision uses the power of infrared light, which is 100% safe for babies. The camera has a light sensor and will activate the night vision only when it gets dark. When you turn off the lights, you will notice a faint red glow in the front of the camera; these are the LEDs lit up. Automatic night vision activation saves you time and energy costs.
MONITOR SETUP Plugging Monitor Into A Wall Outlet Plugging in Through the Cradle: 1. Plug one end of the ENERGY STAR® qualified power adapter into a power source. 2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into the back of the cradle. 3. Insert the monitor into cradle and a red LED will appear on the side to indicate it is charging. When charging is complete the LED will turn green.

↑
The monitor has two ways you can plug it in to charge, through the cradle and directly into the monitor.
MONITOR SETUP Caring For Your Battery To get the longest battery life and the best battery performance, fully charge the battery before use. Do not reconnect the power until the battery has fully drained. This is especially important to do the first few times you use your TWINKLE300.
Monitor Battery Life The monitor is able to be unplugged and running for approximately 4 hours in Standby Mode. When the battery life is low the monitor will beep and the top right LED will be red and blinking to warn you that the battery life is low.
Standing the Monitor Up There are two ways you can stand the monitor up. One is by placing the monitor into the cradle and the other is by using the table stand, this will allow you bring the monitor with you wherever you go using the table stand as well as have a particular location to put the monitor away when it is not in use with the cradle. Using the Cradle: To stand the monitor up with the cradle, place the monitor into the slot, if the station is plugged in the LED on the side of the monitor will glow red to indicate it is charging. Using the Table Stand: To stand the monitor up with the table stand, pull the tab on the back of the monitor out. MONITOR SETUP Turning on the Monitor When the monitor is turned on it will automatically begin connecting with the camera. 1. Make sure the battery is charged or the monitor is plugged in. 2. To turn on monitor, move the ON/OFF switch to ON. 3. The top green LED light will light up along with the LCD screen, which will read LEVANA and display the logo. 4. If the camera is already plugged in the monitor should immediately find the camera and display the image. If not, the screen will read NO SIGNAL. This will mean that the camera is too far away from the monitor, one of the units does not have power properly connected, or the units are not properly paired. Note: Each time the monitor is shut off and turned back on, the volume for both the alarm and camera is reset to the default settings.
Adjusting Monitor Brightness If the picture is too bright or dark, you can adjust it to suit your needs. 1. Make sure the monitor is in live viewing mode and can see the camera. 2. If the image on the LCD screen is too light, press the button to darken the screen. 3. If the image on the LCD screen is too dark, press the button to lighten the screen. Note: There are 10 levels of brightness, 0 being the darkest and 9 being the lightest.
Volume TWINKLE300 allows you to adjust the volume of the audio coming through the monitor. 1. Make sure the monitor is in live viewing mode. 2. If the sound is too quiet, press the button to turn the volume up. 3. If the sound is too loud, press the button to turn the volume down. Note: There are 8 levels of audio, 0 being muted and 7 being the loudest. 13
MONITOR SETUP Audio Information (Automatic Mute) This unit is not designed to be transmitting audio all of the time. If there is a low volume level (background noise) the monitor will turn off the audio to save power and avoid having noise constantly coming through the monitor. This is most helpful at night so that only when there are sounds in the baby’s room will the audio activate and be heard through the monitor.
Alarm The TWINKLE300 gives you the option to turn on an audible alarm which will sound if noise is detected. To Turn the Alarm ON/OFF: 1. Adjust the alarm volume on the side of the monitor. 2. The higher you adjust the volume, the louder the alarm will be. To completely shut the alarm off adjust the volume to the lowest level. 3. The volume level of the beeps will indicate when you are at the highest and lowest levels.
NOTE: The volume, brightness and talk functions are only adjustable while the camera is being viewed on screen. (Not while the monitor has a black screen in Standby Mode.)
Standby Mode The TWINKLE300 system lets you turn off the monitor while you are sleeping. It will turn back on and alert you if noise is detected. To put the TWINKLE300 into Standby Mode: 1. Press the STBY button on the front of the monitor. This will turn off the screen but the LED on the top of the monitor will glow. 2. When sound is detected from the camera, the screen will turn on automatically and if set, the alarm will sound. The screen will turn back off after 5 seconds of no audio. 3. To turn off standby mode press the STBY button again.
14
MONITOR SETUP Talk to Baby Intercom Function The TWINKLE300 allows for two way communication. This means that you can talk into the monitor and your voice will be heard through the camera, and that your child can talk back to you. This is a good function for toddlers and older children. To Use the Talk Function: 1. Make sure your monitor is in live viewing mode. 2. Press and hold the Talk button and speak into the front of the monitor. You must hold the Talk button down while you are speaking for your voice to be heard by the camera. 3. When you are finished speaking release the Talk button.
↑
Pairing the Camera and Monitor The monitor and camera need to be paired together to work properly. This ensures the interference free connection and also prevents users from intercepting the video signal. If the signal between the camera and monitor is lost, or to improve the connection (audio/video) quality, you can pair the monitor and camera back together. In most cases, turning the power ON and OFF on the camera and monitor can re-sync them. However, if turning the camera and monitor OFF and ON doesn’t work, you can manually pair them. Make sure the camera and monitor are close to one another before beginning the pairing process. To Pair the Monitor and Camera: 1. Take a small object, such as a pin and press the button on the bottom of the monitor next to the word “Pair”. 2. You will hear a beep and the screen will read PAIRING and also count down from 30 seconds. 3. Within 30 seconds you must use a small object, such as a pin or toothpick to press the “Pair” button, located on the back of the camera. When both buttons are pressed within 30 seconds, the camera and monitor will pair. If the buttons are not pressed within 30 seconds the monitor will read “no signal.”Pairing the camera and monitor can also improve audio quality. 15
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the signal is poor, or there is interference: • If there is a microwave oven or other electrical devices being used in the path between the camera and monitor, they may affect the signal range. Try powering off the other electrical devices to see if this improves performance • Pair the monitor and camera again to see if this resolves the issue • Make sure the camera and the monitor are within range of each other (range of approximately 100 ft; 200 ft in a clear line of sight) The screen is black and the buttons are not working: • Make sure you are not in Standby Mode • Make sure the monitor is charged and switched on The screen says there is no signal: • Make sure the camera and monitor are plugged into a working power source • Try turning the camera and monitor OFF and ON again • Try pairing the monitor and the camera • Make sure the camera and the monitor are within range of each other (range of approximately 100 ft; 200 ft in a clear line of sight) The Night Vision is not working (not turning on or off) • Check the brightness/darkness of the room • The night vision turns on automatically in the dark. If the room is to bright the night vision will not turn on, if the camera is in a dark area, the night vision will not turn off
FEATURE NOTES 1. Optimum range is 100ft when signal is passing through walls or floors. Microwave ovens (when in use) may cause signal disruption at close range. Buildings with metal frames may also cause signal disruption. Maximum transmission range is 200ft. 2. Included rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 4 hours of continuous use. 3. Night vision range up to 10ft under ideal conditions. Objects at or beyond this range may be partially or completely obscured, depending on the camera application.

THE STORY OF LEVANA Levana, whose name means "to rise", was an ancient Roman goddess of newborn children, a protector and care-giver who devoted her existence to the well-being of infants. Levana would send children pleasant dreams in their sleep and keep a watchful eye. She knew that the rise of a child from its sleep brought a series of extraordinary experiences waiting to be discovered by every boy and girl. 23
