Video Balun kits Announcing two new product kits that will save you money and send clearer video signals over longer distances. Russound’s Component (VBHD) and Composite (VBC) Video Balun kits extend the distance installers can wire without degrading the quality of the video signals. Previously, integrators had to use bulky and expensive coaxial cable for lengthy installations. The VBHD and VBC kits connect with industry-standard CAT-5 wire, creating a more streamlined and efficient system. Each kit utilizes active circuitry to eliminate signal loss and prevents ground loops (vertical “hum” bars on screen and/or audio hum), commonly found with coaxial cable.
VBC Composite Audio/Video Kit
VBHD Component Kit
This powered Video Balun kit actively sends composite video and two-channel analog audio over CAT-5 wire up to 1000 feet. It offers audio and video connections and an input buffer switch for signal splitting. Both the CTX transmitter and CRX receiver provide simple installation with RJ45 connections. The kit includes a power supply.
This powered Video Balun kit actively sends analog component video over CAT-5 wire up to 500 feet. Offering Pr, Y and Pb connections, the VBHD kit is great for remote home theater applications. High Definition compatible up to 1080i, the HDRX receiver and HDTX transmitter provide easy installation with RJ45 connections. The kit includes a power supply.
