Generic Video Server (AMP) Cable Connections Features • All video servers using the Advanced Media Protocol (AMP) connect to the switcher directly via ethernet. Video Server Feature Play Support  FlexDevice™ Installation The FlexDevice driver for this device has been included in the current software release (v3.1). To Set Up Communications 1. Press MENU B SYSTEM B NEXT B NEXT BDevice Config. 2. Press Add. 3. Use the Slot knob to select Slot X, where X is the number of the slot you want to use. 4. Use the Type knob to select Server. 5. Pres NEXT. 6. Use the SubType knob to select AMP_1.0. 7. Press NEXT. 8. Use the Field knob to select the segment of the IP address you want to edit. 9. Use the Value knob to select the number. 10. Press NEXT. 11. Use the Option knob to select PreRoll. 12. Use the Value knob to select the preroll duration you want to use, in frames. 13. Press Option. 14. Press Confrm. To Set Up Video Inputs 1. Press MENU B CONFIG B Input B NEXT. 2. Use the Input knob to select the video input BNC that the video server is connected to. 3. Press Device. 4. Use the Device knob to select the video server that is connected to the selected input BNC. 5. Press NEXT. 6. Use the Option knob to select Channel. 7. Use the Value knob to select the channel on the video server that you want to control. 8. Press Option. 9. Press Confrm.
