Wireless Setup         Press the HOME button on the top of the remote Use the right arrow key to highlight the Settings icon and press OK Enter 0000 and Press OK Select WIFI Select the Wifi connection you wish to use Press OK to access the onscreen keyboard and enter wifi passphrase Press Done then highlight Submit and press OK The box will connect to your Wifi connection Manual Ethernet Setup             Press the HOME button on the top of the remote Use the right arrow key to highlight the Settings icon and press OK Enter 0000 and Press OK Select Network property Select Static Here you can enter the box IP , Gateway and DNS settings Obtain your router IP, Enter the same IP address in the IP box except for the last digits which you should replace with 199 or other number not already in use. 2-253 NETMASK: 255.255.255.0 GATEWAY: Use same address as router DNS1 : Use same address as router DNS2: Leave blank Save the settings and reboot box Navigation: Method 1 With the remote control, press “OK” and a channel menu will appear on the left of the picture. Use the “up” and “down” arrows to highlight a channel and press “OK” to select and open that channel. The IPTV Streambox will then connect to that channel. To move quickly up and down through the channel list use the "Page up" & "Page down" buttons If you know the number of the channel, key that into the remote control and the left menu will appear with that number highlighted, press “OK” to open the channel. Navigation: Method 2 On the remote control, press “HOME” and with “TV” highlighted, press “OK”. Channel icons will appear. Use the right arrow to enter the icon grid and then use the arrow buttons to navigate to your desired channel. Press “OK” to open that channel. Recording  Insert a fast USB2 pen drive into the USB2 port on the front of the IP Streambox.  1 hr recording on a standard definition will use approx 350MB  Go to the Channel page and press the record button (red dot) and enter the channel, the date, time and duration. Highlight “Record” and press “OK”.  To play a recording, go to the home page and select “Files”, press “OK” and then navigate to your recording and highlight and press “OK”.  For quick recording, open a channel a press the record button then press “OK” Radio  To listen to a radio channel select the HOME button navigate to the RADIO icon and press OK  Use the up/down arrow keys to navigate through the different radio station types press OK  to display available channels. Use the right arrow key and up/down keys to select the channel you wish to play. You tube  Press the HOME button on the remote control  Use the arrow button to navigate to the APPLICATIONs icon  Select YOUTUBE  To search for a Tube video use up key to enter the SEARCH box and press OK  Use the onscreen keyboard to type in Artist/song/video title, press DONE to search  Use the arrow key to navigate to your chosen video and press OK  Highlight WATCH and press OK or ADD FAVOURITE and press OK  Your favourite videos will be stored in the a folder for easy access in future  Press BACK at any time to go back to the main Youtube menu  Press HOME to return to the main TV menu Troubleshooting I have connected all the cables but nothing happens  Check the power cable is connected properly. The less on the front of the box should light up.  Check you have selected the corrected HDMI/Video source on your tv.  Check the power supply is connected to a wall socket. I have message DNS has failed  Check you have a connection to internet -reconnect to wifi- unplug ethernet cable and plug in again.  check you can play a Youtube video in the apps section.  Setup internet connection manually from the settings menu.  Give the box an ip based on the router ip e.g. if the router was 192.168.1.1 then make the box 192.168.1.99 (the last digits must be different to the routers).  Make subnet 255.255.255.0  Gateway and DNS should be set to the router ip e.g. 192.12.168.1.1  Reboot box. I get freezing on some channels  Disconnect wifi and test with ethernet cable if problem remains reboot box and test again. I get the message NOSIGNAL  Reboot box if the message reappears then we may be working on that channel please try again later.  How to refresh channel list  Press the Home button , move pointer to channel grid, press the RED button to refresh channel list. My box won't respond  Unplug the power cable at the back of the unit for 5 seconds then plug in again.  Check batteries on remote control. I have message account expired  Your account has closed automatically when your payment credits have run out. Please contact support to recharge your account. I have message to upgrade firmware  Only allow the update if you are connected by ethernet cable to not allow the update if using wifi connection.  To update firmware using USB stick  Download firmware from your supplier, copy the .bin file to the root directory of the usb stick and insert in the usb slot.  Plug in power cable , keep pressing the "0" key every half second until you get to a new boot screen then select USB UPDATE by usb follow onscreen commands.
