Vigilon The Vigilon analogue addressable fire detection and alarm system from Gent offers medium to large sized building owners the latest in system flexibility and control panel aesthetics. LPCB approved to EN 54: Parts 2 & 4, Vigilon 1-4 loop control panels can accommodate up to 200 devices on each loop, including repeat panels, interfaces, call points, sensors and sounders. Up to 31 panels may be connected in a secure network, whilst multi layer networks can be created using a domain bridge architecture. Vigilon’s backlit LCD display presents clear indication of Fire or Fault location and the control panel’s innovative 8 -line x 40 character display with push-button keypad is simple to use. Fire Plans can be tailored to precisely meet site requirements. Vigilon’s software allows network areas to be sectored to evacuate or alert status, or configured with pre-set delays.

Because all Vigilon devices connect onto the same 2-core loop, separate sounder or repeater panel wiring circuits are not required. Selection of sensors to suit each building’s use will reduce false alarms and Vigilon’s comprehensive range includes heat, dual angle optical / heat and CO multi sensors, beam and duct smoke detectors. Optical or heat combined sensor/sounder/ strobe can also be deployed to boost alarm sound levels without costly additional wiring. In the event of a Fire or Fault, Vigilon’s analogue addressable technology will provide an entire historic log of the system’s management information. Vigilon allows full integration with additional outstations such as Supervisor graphics terminals and Vigilon Voice alarm systems. To meet the requirements of BS5839 Part 1: 2002 the Vigilon is supplied with integral zonal indication, visible at access level 1. This comprises of 32 fire LED’s (secret till lit), which enables ‘at a glance’ overview indication, without the need for manual intervention by fire fighters.
