VIP-TX High-quality multi-codec video server with integrated Automatic Incident Detection (AID) and Traffic Data Collection (TDC) The VIP-TX solution combines field-proven incident detection and traffic data algorithms with advanced video encoding and powerful processing technology in a single housing. The VIP-TX network video encoder provides embedded analytics as well as multi-stream and multi-codec encoding in a single temperature-hardened module. This combination of technologies makes for a very cost-effective solution which at the same time delivers top level performance. VIP-TX advanced processing unit generates traffic data and incident detection information to support traffic operators with alerts on stopped vehicles, wrong-way drivers, pedestrians, lost cargo, smoke, and traffic flow data.
Powerful video encoding The versatile VIP-TX is capable of streaming three IP video streams simultaneously using H.264, MPEG-4, MPEG-2 or MJPEG video compression standards. All streams are individually configurable, up to full D1 resolution (720x576) and full framerate Automatic Incident Detection VIP-TX generates a broad range of incident alarms by analyzing the incoming images. The required functionality such as alert for stopped vehicle, wrong-way driver, pedestrians, lost cargo, smoke and traffic flow data can be selected to accommodate any traffic application. Fiber option The TrafficServer™ is available with an optional pluggable SFP slot for direct fiber connections. The XSNet range of SFP devices offers a variety of multi-mode or single-mode fibre solutions that suits a large range of deployment distances.

Traffic data Retrieving accurate traffic data is essential for traffic flow management. VIP-TX performs specific measurements with relation to traffic flow management next to to the AID analytics. It provides real-time information on volume, speed, classification, gap-time, etc. This information can also be visualized as an overlay in the image, giving the operator a clear view on the traffic situation. Audio, I/O and analog output By combining streaming video with duplex audio and I/O contacts control over IP, the VIP-TX system provides all the interfaces necessary for demanding applications. The serial interface supports most common PTZ communication protocols. ONVIF compliant Compliance with the ONVIF profile S standard assures smooth integration with third-party video management systems, video recorders and other peripherals.

Software All traffic data, events, alarms and video sequences generated by the VIP-TX are sent to the Traficon Management System, called Flux. The Flux server stores all information in a relational database. Real-time information is available anywhere on the network. Besides a pure server and storage function, Flux also provides extra functions such as data and event reporting, real-time monitoring through an intuitive user interface, event filtering and scenario building ( = management of different configurations subject to changes in the traffic situation). The open architecture of the VIP/Flux system allows an easy integration into any larger traffic management system. Flux has options for video wall functionality, video recording, streaming video server function, email notification, OPC- and other interfaces. Multiple servers can be deployed to provide scalability for large installations and/or critical redundancy. Contact:
