® QUICK START GUIDE Virtuoso-PRO Complete steps 1-5 to connect to your Virtuoso-PRO Professional Audio Extender System Professional Audio Extension Virtuoso-PRO For Professional Audio Extension Applications: STEP 1: Connect the Virtuoso-PRO Transmitter to the Virtuoso-PRO Receiver using multi-mode fiber-optic cables (up to 1000 meters) or single-mode fiber-optic cables (up to 40 kilometers). Connect L1 to L1 and L2 to L2. STEP 2: Ensure the Receiver’s ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position. Connect the AC Power Cord and plug it into a standard AC source. Turn the switch ON. STEP 3: Connect S/PDIF optical, S/PDIF phono, Balanced analog and/or AES3-id cables between the Virtuoso-PRO Receiver and your output devices. Ensure that they are turned ON. · Extends up to 4 channels of audio over one fiber and up to 8 channels over two fibers. · Extends broadcast quality audio signals up to 40 kilometers · Designed as a compact, stand-alone unit or with up to four Virtuoso-PRO audio modules housed in a rack mount chassis unit (chassis can house both audio and video modules) STEP 4: Ensure the Transmitter’s ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position. Connect the AC Power Cord and plug it into a standard AC source. Turn the switch ON. STEP 5: Connect your S/PDIF optical, S/PDIF phono, Balanced analog and/or AES3-id cables between the Virtuoso-PRO Transmitter and your audio source(s). Turn the source(s) ON. Ensure that all system functions are operating properly.
