Point your satellite tuner box remote control at the receiver and the IR signal will be passed back down the power cables to your sa tellite box. A cabled IR receiver plugs into the receiver, and a cabled IR emitter plugs into the transmitter, allowing the transmitter and receiver to be hidden away. Plug and Play
