Vista VPN Setup Note: These instructions assume you are not using Dial‐Up. Click on Start Go to: Control Panel
Switch to Classic View Click on: Network and Sharing Center
Click on: Set up a connection or network
Click on: Connect to a workplace>Click “Next” You may have to scroll to the bottom of the choices
Click on the radio dial: No, create a new connection
Click on: Use my Internet connection (VPN)
Type in “termsvr.issaquah.wednet.edu” Name: “Issaquah School District or ISD” Check the ”Don’t connect now” Uncheck the “Allow other people to use this connection”.
Fill in username, password and domain info (See your Tech Specialist if you are unsure of this information)
And that’s it! You’re now ready to connect. (See last page to make a shortcut on your desktop).
Close the setup and you will find an icon shortcut on your desktop. Double‐click this icon to connect. You will need to enter your domain name/username and password.
**To add a shortcut for the VPN connection to your desktop: Click on Start>Control Panel>Network and Sharing Center> Click on Manage Network Connections, then right mouse click on the VPN connection that you just made and click “Create Shortcut”.
