Two dedicated versions of the power supply unit enable the rack to be powered using an AC or DC main supply with various supply voltages. The rear of the rack gives access to the IOC input/output cards. These contain screw terminal strips or connectors for the connection of transducers or conditioners and for the input and output of various signals to an external control system. Racks are generally pre-configured in the factory prior to delivery, so the system received is ready-to-use. Optionally, each card can be programmed on-site using the MPS1 or MPS2 software package. Any rack position not used by a plug-in card can be covered by a blank panel.
ABE 056 19” racks are used to house hardware from Vibro-Meter’s VM 600 series of machinery protection systems and condition monitoring systems. This rack is particularly suitable for industrial environments, where equipment must be permanently installed in 19" cabinets or panels. Each rack has a standard height of 1U and provides mounting space for one VM 600 series card. The rack has a built-in backplane which assures the electrical interconnection between power supply unit, signal processing card, acquisition card, input/output and relay card.
