Product Information – VMX NVR
Standard Network Recorder Teleste VMX is a modular system for IP video applications including video management, streaming, recording and storage.
VMX NVR is the high capacity network video recorder component of the Teleste VMX System. It is responsible for recording audio and video streams. The module records video in an uninterruptible loop mode, to a local hard drive array, ensuring that all critical events are recorded. VMX NVR allows operators to save the contents of the recording loop, or select any part of a recording, after an incident has occurred. The module provides
media encryption as well as tamper evident watermarking. NVR supports multiple user levels, grants access to stored material according to user rights and priorities defined in the system configuration. New generation recording platform offers enhanced storage reliability by improving scalability and flexibility of recording loops.
Similar to other VMX modules, the NVR can be managed and diagnosed remotely, which greatly reduces maintenance and configuration time and costs. The module is designed to operate in a multi-host environment and supports multiple simultaneous VMX client connections, and multiple views of recorded material. The NVR is based on 1U rack server with internal storage supporting two hard drives.
