Combining the famous Boston sound with the latest and best weather resistance and manufacturing methods, the Voyager series is equal to the challenge of the harshest environments. Wherever they’re used—outdoors, indoors, or in marine applications—the Voyagers deliver smooth, articulate performance. All models in the Voyager line are true two-way designs. The drive units are mounted from behind the baffle so the metal baskets and hardware are sealed and gasketed inside the cabinet against penetrating weather. The Voyager 2 features a potent new 41/2” (115mm) woofer and a Boston-built 3/4” (19mm) dome tweeter. The Voyager 3 uses the same tweeter, but adds more bass and sound output by employing a full 51/4” (135mm) woofer and larger cabinet. The Voyager Pro brings Boston’s patented 1” (25mm) Kortec™ soft dome tweeter to the outdoors for the first time, with its neodymium magnet structure and smooth response, in conjunction with a 51/4” (135mm) copolymer woofer. The Grand Voyager gives unprecedented output with a potent new 7” (180mm) copolymer woofer and the 1” (25mm) Kortec tweeter. The Voyager Pro and Grand Voyager feature an innovative tweeter wave guide to optimize efficiency and provide wide, even coverage of the outdoor listening area. Drawing from over a decade of all-weather speaker expertise, Boston built the Voyager series from materials proven to resist the elements: polypropylene cabinet with UV light and impact resistance, all-aluminum grilles and brackets, gold-plated speaker connectors. Their versatile brackets simplify installation and the speakers’ wedge shape makes corner placement easy.
