Introduction ®
The HDMI to VGA AV Adapter is an adapter which integrates video and audio output from a portable device, such as a laptop, smart phone or tablet PC. Audio and video signals can be outputted simultaneously from this adapter without any additional device. In addition, with the built-in SPDIF decoder, it connects to a SPDIF speaker directly without any converter or via a decoder/amplifier.

3 1 3.5mm audio jack: Connect to a speaker or earphone/ headphone. 2 SPDIF output: Connect to a speaker which built-in SPDIF connector. 3 VGA connector: Connect to a monitor or projector. 4 Volume buttons: ■ Press and hold A button to decrease the volume, or press and hold B button to increase the volume. ■ Press A and B buttons at the same time to silence the volume. To resume the volume, press any button. Note: This function available only when connecting to an analog speaker. Adjust the volume of SPDIF is invalid.

Audio connection Connect the earphone or speaker to the earphone jack of the adapter using a 3.5mm audio cable. Alternatively, connect the speaker which built-in SPDIF connector to the SPDIF output jack.

Note: DO NOT use the earphone continuously for long time. Exposure to high sound levels will impair your hearing and prolonged use may cause hearing defects regardless of the volume levels.

Resolution This adapter is supporting plug and play feature. The resolution will be adjusted automatically once the adapter is plugged into a computer (Windows system). To adjust the resolution, please follow the steps below. 1. Position the mouse anywhere on Windows Desktop, right-click and select on ® Windows 7 , Personalize > Display Settings on ® Windows Vista or Properties > Settings on Windows ® XP . ®
2 Drop down the menu of Resolution on Windows 7 , drag ® the bar of the Screen Resolution on Windows Vista or ® Windows XP .
