The heat sink and driver box are hidden above the canopy, allowing for energy efficient and long lasting lighting with a sleek, cohesive look. Security and energy management features are available with occupancy activation.

Features & Characteristics APPLICATIONS The vSHINE Canopy Recessed is ideal for gas stations, truck stops, picnic shelters, tunnels, overhangs, or any area that requires powerful lighting that blends seamlessly with a ceiling. CONSTRUCTION The IP66-rated housing is manufactured with die-cast aluminum. The heat sink extrusion allows for a variety of lengths to suit any luminaire wattage Valen Light manufactures. The heat sink is extruded and maintains optimal performance at 45-50°C ambient temperatures via passive cooling and natural cleaning. The hinging base section and stainless steel fasteners provide simple entry to the fixture’s parts for repairs and maintenance. OPTICS vSHINE optics are precisely designed to shape the distribution, thereby maximizing efficiency through product spacing. The vSHINE optics are engineered from Poly-meth-methyl-acrylic-optical grade (PMMA) PC, which optimizes light transmission. The average transmittance in the visible spectrum is 400nm~700nm>90%. ELECTRICAL The state-of-the-art Philips Xitanium LED driver offers superior energy efficiency and output. It is mounted to the back casting for ideal heat sinking and operation efficiency. The standard input for the driver is 90-528 Volts AC with an IP67 rating. The driver is dimmable, programmable and compatible with motion sensors for optimal user control and increased energy savings. MOUNTING The vSHINE Canopy Recessed is designed for recessed mounting in open top or enclosed canopies. FINISH N/A WARRANTY Valen Light offers a 5 year warranty on LEDs and a 10 year warranty on mold and extrusion.
LEDS Manufactured with the Cree XLamp XP-G2 LED, the vSHINE Canopy is capable of up to 429 lumens at 143 lumens per watt when driven at 1.5 A.
