FULLY DIGITAL SYSTEM UNITS The functionality: Innovative technologies, userfriendly operation and first-class sound complied – the VSS generation of multifunctional subwoofers with integrated audio DSP and flexible signal routing for an optimal control of the audio signal. Its user-friendly control panel with LCD graphic display with navigation pad enable an easyto-understand control of all parameters. Plug & Play use and variable possibilities of combination and extension create a so long unrivalled flexibility. It is the heart and control center in different active PA systems or as active subwoofer array. For the first time a portable system like the VSS 18
provides different factory presets which enable a directional or omnidirectional dispersion of an active subwoofer arrays. The sound experience: undistorted crystal-clear and powerful reproduction quality (without conversion losses due to digital input), the analogue input signal is digitalized directly inside the input amplifier using an intelligent 24 bit AD converter and remains consequently digital to the class D amplifiers’ output
The product quality: Its extreme light-weight is achieved by the consequent use of high-end technologies, like digital class D amplifiers, PFC-switched mode power supply and newest Neodymium drivers. Operation elements and connectors are countersunk and hence protected optimally. The particular mechanical solidity is guaranteed by pressure-glued polyurethane coated casings assembled using the tongue and groove system.
