Optional Hanger brackets if used (2 per fixture required), snap to the top of the fixture and are then attached using 2 #8-32 X 3/4” screws. Hanger brackets are used on both ends of a single fixture installation. The aircraft cable must be captured between the mounting screws so it doesn’t slip out of the Hanger bracket (see Hanger bracket with aircraft cable). Power cable gets attached to the power end of a (SR) single run fixture installation. Remove the end cap screw, insert the Power cable then reinstall end cap screw through tab in power cable (see Cable connection). Do NOT over tighten end cap screw as it will pull through power cable tab. Aircraft cable: (2 per fixture required) an 0.059” diameter aircraft cable with a 0.197” ball on the end can be inserted into the Hanger bracket (see Hanger bracket with aircraft cable) or directly to the light fixture channel (see Aircraft cable mounted directly to back of fixture) to suspend the fixture. Each aircraft cable must be secured between two screws to insure it doesn’t slide out of the channel. Use appropriate cable grippers to adjust the height of the fixture.
Fixture Installation 1. Determine fixture location and insure low voltage power cable VXP1-V6 will reach between power supply box and fixture power end when routed and secured. 2. Attach 2 aircraft cables to back of each fixture. Remove outer most screw and slide in the ball on the aircraft cable into the channel then reinsert the outer screw. The ball on the aircraft cable must be captivated between the two screws. Do this on both ends keeping the aircraft cable near the end of the fixture for balance. If fixture has a Hanger Bracket attached to each end follow the same procedure except the aircraft cable ball slides into the Hanger bracket channel instead of the fixture channel. 3. Hang fixture from appropriate support structure. Use appropriate cable grippers to adjust the height of the fixture.

Power supply installation and connection 1. Mount power supply box such that the cable will reach between power supply box and fixture power end when routed and secured. 2. Remove cover from power supply box. 3. Mount power supply box. 4. Remove power supply box 0.875” (large) knock out on low voltage side of power supply box (red and blue wire side). Route VXP1-V6 low voltage cable through supplied Heyco cable clamp and insert into the open knock out hole. Inside power supply box, tie strain relief knot in VXP1-N6 low voltage cable. Connect VXP1-V6 low voltage cable red wire to red wire of power supply. Connect VXP1-V6 low voltage cable blue wire to blue wire of power supply. Secure VXP1-V6 low voltage cable to aircraft cable. 5. Remove power supply box knock out on high voltage side of power supply box (white, and black wire side). Connect branch wires to corresponding black and white leads from power supply (LED Driver) according to state and local electric codes. Connect ground wire to green wire in power supply box according to state and local electric codes. 6. Attach power supply box cover. 7. The screw in End cap is used to attach power supply cable to fixture. Attach power supply cable and End cap to the end of the fixture using End cap screw (see Cable connection). Do NOT over tighten end cap screw as it will pull through power cable tab. 8. Apply branch circuit power to power supply and verify VXF1 fixture lights properly.
