INSTALLATION METHOD This is an anti-theft installation method. The main unit wears a METAL MOUNTING SLEEVE. Please connect the wiring, eg, the Power supply, the Speakers and the Antenna according to the requirements of this Instruction Manual, then install the metal mounting sleeve into the car as per the diagram illustrated below. Bend the tabs on the mounting sleeve against the dashboard with a screwdriver.
To raise the anti-skip capability of the unit, please ensure the metal support strap is connected firmly to the car chassis.

METAL MOUNTING SLEEVE
To remove the CD player out of the mounting sleeve, insert the two supplied keys into the left and right side slots of the chassis at the same time. Then pull the chassis out of the mounting sleeve as shown in the illustration. To remove the plast ic trim ring out of the unit chassis, please grasp the upside of left and right tw o sides of t he plast ic trim ri ng and pull it up a lit tle firstly, then draw it out. Or grasp the upside of one side of t he plast ic trim ring and pull it up a lit tle, and draw it outward, then grasp the other side and pull it up a little and draw it outward.

Remove the two screws that protect the CD player during transportation before operating the player.
To attach the removable faceplate, insert the right side of the faceplate into the right of the CD player chassis first. Then push the left side of the faceplate into the chassis until you hear it click .

a. The volume can be adjusted at any time by pressing the audio level UP(+) or DN(-) button as select mode has been initially defaulted at volume mode. b. 8. EQ BUTTON Press this button to switch between 3 preset equalizer curves: POP, CLAS, ROCK. The audio output will change correspondingly. 9. EJECT KEY Press this key, a loaded disc can be ejected from the CD slot. 10.11. TRACK UP/DOWN BUTTONS During CD mode, press the button to advance forward to the next track. Hold the button to fast forward the CD. Release to resume CD playback. During CD mode, press the button to return to previous track. Hold the button to fast reverse the CD. Release to resume CD playback. 12. CD ( CD PLAY/ PAUSE) BUTTON In RADIO mode, press the button to switch to CD mode. In CD mode, press this button to suspend the CD playback and press again to resume normal CD playback. 13. LOUD/RDM BUTTON LOUD MODE: Press this button to enhance the bass output. Press again to cancel loudness effect. RDM MODE: In CD mode, press RDM button and hold for 2 seconds for random playback mode, the RDM will appear on the display, then press the or to play the entire track on the current disc in random order, press RDM button and hold for 2 seconds again to exit this mode. 14. LOC/RPT BUTTON LOCAL/DISTANT MODE: (This operation is effective on FM reception only.) During RADIO mode, press this button to switch between local and distant reception. Pressing LOC will improve reception in some areas where the signal is too strong. LOC will appear on the LCD display indicating you are in the local reception mode. Press LOC again to release it to improve distant reception when you are located in an area with a weak signal. Use of this button toggles between LOCAL & DISTANT FM reception.

PRECAUTION OF DISC PLAY: REPEAT MODE: In CD mode, pressing this button will continuously repeat the same track. Press again to stop repeat function. 15. ST/INT BUTTON ST/MO MODE:(This operation is effective on FM reception only.) During radio mode, press this button to change between mono and stereo modes. The character ST will appear on the LCD display while there is a strong signal from an FM station that is broadcasting in stereo. Mono improves the reception of the distant stereo FM stations. INT MODE: During CD mode, press this button to play the first 10 seconds of each track on the disc. Press again to exit INT mode and resume CD playback when you locate your desired track.
Cleaning the CD: Before playing a CD, wipe it off with a clean, dust-free cleaning cloth. Wipe the disc in the direction of the arrow.
Always insert the CD with the label side facing upwards. If the CD is inserted with the printed side facing downwards, the device may be damaged.
16. MUTE BUTTON This button serves to switch the MUTED state on/off. Press the MUTE button to suppress the loudspeaker temporarily, and press again to resume listening. 17. CLOCK DISPLAY AND SETTING BUTTON During CD or RADIO mode, press CLK button once to display the real time. With time appearing on the display, Press and hold CLK button for more than 2 seconds, until time flashes. You can then adjust HOUR and MINUTE by pressing the button and button, respectively.
Note: If there is already a CD in the CD slot, do not try to insert a second CD. This may damage the device. Always hold CDs by the edge. In order to keep the CD clean, do not touch the surface. Pull out the CD as shown below.
18. BAND BUTTON During CD playback, press this button once to switch to RADIO mode. Then press this button for AM or FM reception. The character of the corresponding band will be visible on the display. 19. TUNING CONTROL Rotate this control at radio mode to select your desired radio broadcasting station. The selected frequency will appear on the display.
Do not attach any sticker or adhesive tape on the CD. Do not expose the CD to direct sunlight or sources of heat such as heating vents. Do not leave CDs in a car if it’ s parked in direct sunlight as that will lead to a considerable rise in the temperature inside the car. Note: Do not use any solvents such as petrol or thinning agents. Commercially available cleaning substances or antistatic spray, this will damage the device. Remark: In addition to normal audio CD, this unit can play CD-R and CD-R/W disc that contain audio tracks as well; however, depending on the conditions of the recording equipment, recording program or the CD-R as well as CD-R/W disc itself, some CD-R or CD-R/W may not play. When making music CD with CD-R or CD-R/W disc, high recording speed may result in poor signal quality and therefore, it is recommendable to select 24x or lower speed for CD-R recording and 4x or lower speed for CD-R/W recording.
