DISCONNECT BATTERY BEFORE SERVICING. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 Install the Relay (2) onto the relay panel under the control panel using the Screw (4) as shown in Figure 1. Connect the unused wire connector to this Relay (2). Install the 20Amp Fuse (9) in the second socket from the right in the fuse block shown. Remove the (4) (A) Nuts from the backside of the engine door. Install the Fan (1) onto the (4) screws from which you just removed the Nuts (A) as shown in Figure 2. Re-install the (4) (A) Nuts and tighten. Install (2) of the Clips (5) as shown onto the engine door, using the (6) Screws and (2) of the (8) Nuts. Install the other (2) Clips (5) on the radiator as shown using the (7) Screws and the remaining (8) Nuts. Route the Wiring Harness (B) as shown and secure with Cable Ties (3). NOTE: Wire Harness (B) is coiled up and stored under the hydraulic pump at the rear of the engine. Use the remaining Cable Ties (3) as needed. Connect the Wire Harness (B) to the Fan (1) wire connector. Close all engine compartment doors. DISCONNECT BATTERY BEFORE SERVICING. 1 2 3 4 5 6 Install the Relay (2) onto the relay panel under the control panel using the Screw (4) as shown in Figure 3. Connect the unused wire connector to this Relay (2). Install the 20Amp Fuse (9) in the second socket from the right in the lower fuse block as shown. Raise and prop-up the hopper. Remove the Access Panel from the back side of the control panel. Insert the terminal end of Wire Assembly (11) into the back of the lower fuse block where you just installed the 20Amp Fuse (9) (there will be (2) connections, only one will be open, plug into the open connection). Route Wire Assembly (11) back along-side the wiring harness that runs between the tanks and the operator’s compartment. Use Cable Ties (3) as needed to keep the wire away from moving parts. (page 3) 2 4 9 7/99 revised 3/00 Form No. 56040700 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 Bring Wire Assembly (11) into the engine compartment and route over the top of the bell housing. At this point, plug it into Harness Assembly (10) at the end which also has a ring terminal. Remove the bolt from the bell housing which already has two cables grounded to it and ground the ring terminal of Harness Assembly (10) to this same bolt. Remove the factory installed alternator and replace with the 51 Amp Alternator (14) from the kit. Remove the Rear Engine Panel from the machine and save the Door Latch for re-use on the new Rear Engine Panel (12), install new panel on machine. See Figure 4. Assemble items (1, 12, 13, & 20-24) as shown, re-using the door latch. Install (2) of the Clips (5) as shown onto the Rear Engine Panel (12), using the (6) FIGURE 4 Screws and (2) of the (8) Nuts. Install the other (2) Clips (5) on the radiator as shown using the (7) Screws and the remaining (8) Nuts. Route the Harness Assembly (10) as shown and secure with Cable Ties (3). Use the remaining Cable Ties (3) as needed. Connect the Harness Assembly (10) to the Fan (1) wire connector. 8 5 7 3 20 6 FRONT 1 3 10 5 8 21 22 23 13 12 Re-use latch from old panel 24 (page 4) 7/99 revised 3/00 Form No. 56040700 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 See Figure 5. Remove the L.H. Side Door Weld’t. (A) from the machine and replace with the new L.H. Side Door Weld’t. (15) from the kit. Re-use all mounting hardware. Install Hose (27) between L.H. Side Door Weld’t. (15) and the Dust Control Impeller Outlet Weld’t. using Hose Clamps (25). Route through square hole in impeller brace at rear of engine. See Figure 6. Remove the Seat Panel Assembly (B) and the fuel tank from the machine. Assemble items (16-18) as shown and slide the assembly into place. Using the baffle as a template, mark and drill (2) 7/32” (5.55mm) holes for mounting the baffle, install (2) Screws (26). Re-install the seat panel assembly and fuel tank. Route fuel line through hole in newly installed Baffle (16). Close all engine compartment doors. Re-install control panel access panel and lower hopper.
