Customer Instructions Deep Fryer, 1.5 Gallon Warnings: • This product is intended for indoor use only. • Maximum food capacity is 1.75 lbs. This is not a turkey fryer. • Be sure never to overload the fryer basket. Hot oil could over flow and cause serious injury. • Never put icy or frozen food that contains ice crystals into hot oil. • Use only metal utensils to insert or remove food from fryer. • High temperatures will cause burns & scalding. Do not stand over fryer while in operation, and do not touch any part of the fryer other than the basket handle. • Never leave fryer unattended; watch children around fryer • Do not attempt to move fryer while it contains hot oil. • Unplug fryer when not in use, and before cleaning • Do not use this unit for anything other than the intended use.
Operating Instructions 1. Make sure the unit control is in the off position (0), and that the temperature control knob is at 0. 2. Fill the fryer tank with no less than 1 gal. and no more than 1 1/2 gal. of vegetable oil. You may add more oil if the oil gets below the one gallon mark while frying. 3. Plug the fryer into a GFCI or surge protected outlet. Never use extension cords. 4. Turn the power control to ON (1); the green power light will be illuminated. Turn the temperature control knob to the desired temperature. When the oil is heated, the yellow “Hot” light will come on. 5. Lift fryer basket up & away from the oil to load food, and avoid splashing. 6. Gently place loaded basket into oil, and cover. 7. Follow recommended cooking time. When you are finished cooking, turn power knob to “off” and unplug the fryer. CLEANING THE FRYER -
After the oil has cooled, remove the screen protecting the heating element inside the tank with a pair of tongs. Do not reach your hand into the oil. Lift the oil tank out, and dispose of oil. Wash oil tank with soap & water, dry it thoroughly & place in machine.
