REMEMBER: all glass must be emptied of its remains. Neon tubes and low-energy consumption lightbulbs, paned glass, doublepaned glass and mirrors must be disposed of in Eco-centres. CAUTION: do not throw away crystal glasses or objects, ceramic plates and dishes, and Pyrex oven pans. Do not put waste in plastic bags.

PLASTIC AND METAL PACKAGING
ORGANIC
Newspapers and magazines • cartons and large cardboard boxes • notebooks and paper sheets • plasticised cardboard cartons/containers for drinks • books • paper bags and poster board packaging.
Bottles • cans • aluminium tins and aluminium foil • plastic containers • dishes and glasses • yogurt jars/pots • flasks/bottles for bubble bath and shampoo • small metal tins • Styrofoam cups for food and ice-cream • metal caps and crowned bottle taps • plastic packaging, envelopes or bags • cream or toothbrush tubes • detergent bottles • metal jars • food packaging.
Fruit peels or scraps • leftover meat, bones • ribs • vegetable scraps and leftovers • fish scraps and fishbone • ashes • table napkins and all-purpose kitchen paper • leftover rice and pasta • cheese scraps • tea bags and coffee deposits • remains of bread and pizza • egg shells and nut shells • cut flowers and apartment plants.
REMEMBER: paper and cardboard must be thrown away only if they are clean. It is important to tear or fold the cartons and the large boxes to reduce their volume, before putting them in the bin.
REMEMBER: plastic packaging as well as those in metal, must be thrown away after having been emptied of their remains, and, when possible, reduced in volume by crushing them.
REMEMBER: these components, treated appropriately, become compost, which constitutes excellent topsoil for flowers and plants. Put items in biodegradable bags.
CAUTION: do not throw away carbon-copy paper, plasticised paper, soiled paper, wax paper, receipts in chemical paper, Styrofoam. Do not put waste into plastic bags.
CAUTION: not all plastic is recyclable. Do not throw away toys, plastic cutlery, objects in rubber, CDs or DVDs, washbasins, plastic tables and chairs, rolling window shutters.
CAUTION: do not throw away cuttings, weeds or cut branches, cigarette butts, rags, cardboard, vacuum cleaner bags, metals, plastic, glass, diapers or sanitary napkins.
