Waterproof Accessory For PHYLINK Bullet HD Network Camera Weatherproof Junction Box Version 1.0 Overview Weatherproof Junction Box provides a waterproof enclosure to protect camera cable joints and connectors. This accessory only applies to Phylink Bullet HD Network Camera. Please do not use for other Phylink cameras. Weatherproof Junction Box provide a neat and waterproof connections for outdoor camera. It make the camera cable waterproof. Before you mount the whole camera outdoors, please put the connections of power and network in the Weatherproof Junction Box. When you put the power adapter cable and network cable through a building's wall, you only need to drill a small hole on the wall to run the power adapter cable and network cable from the Weatherproof Junction Box to an indoor power outlet and network. A roughly 1/4 inch diameter hole will be required for either a network cable or the DC plug at the end of the power adapter cable to pass through. Please refer to Figure 2. Step 2 Put RJ45 connector and DC plug connector in the rear cover of Weatherproof Junction Box. Put the power adapter cable and network cable on the groove both side of the sealing strip. Please refer to Figure 2. Step 3 Close the front cover, let the groove on the sealing strip press against the cable. The bigger groove is for network cable, smaller one for power adapter cable. Please refer to Figure 2 and Figure 3. Please make sure there is no gap between the front cover and rear cover. Important! If the camera is used by PoE connection, you do not need to connect the power adapter . You must use the attached stopper on the sealing strip to block the groove on sealing strip to prevent water leakage. Please refer to Figure 3. If the camera is used by Wi-Fi connection, you do not need to connect the network cable. You must use the attached stopper on the sealing strip to block the groove on sealing strip to prevent water leakage. Please refer to Figure 3. Step 4 Put screw gasket in the screw hole at the rear cover and lock it tight with the attached screw, then block the screw hole with rubber stopper. Please refer to Figure 2.
