Step by step install
Your Modem/VOIP are pre configured. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.
Screw the antenna and cable onto the wireless modem Place the antenna on the roof of your boat (magnetic) or a outdoor window sill (home users only) Feed the cables via window/ vent or cable entry point (do not trap or crush the cable and keep all connectors dry)) Do not plug the wireless modem into you pc yet!! Insert the Ethernet cable in to the wireless modem (ports1-4) (NOT WAN Port) and in to your computers Ethernet port or Virtual telephone adaptor. Now insert the power supply in to the wireless modem. Now turn on your pc The wireless modem should now show three lights, RED= Diag, Green =Power Green=G (WLAN) See notes at the bottom of this page.

Now Click on Start, Run, then type “cmd”in the run box, click OK A Black Windows system box will appear Now type “ipconfig”at the flash command promt >_ and press enter This will display lines of information about your Ethernet adaptor, look at the information and look for the line Ethernet Local Adaptor. Your Ethernet Adaptor should have an IP Address starting 192.168.11.xxx, if you do not see this please reboot your pc and router and check all connectors are correctly installed as above Now close the Windows system box
Setting up your Internet browser. Internet explorer 1. Open your Internet explorer, if you are greeted with the wireless logon page you can stop. If not please follow the following steps 2. Click on tools> internet options 3. Internet options: click on connections, select never dial a connection. 4. Click on LAN Settings and uncheck any check boxes. 5. Click apply>ok then close your browser. 6. Open your browser, now you should see the wireless login page. 7. Click close X If you are not seeing the login screen then follow the instructions below. Check your Signal 1. To check your wifi signal, refer to instruction manual and follow login procedure. 2. Click on the Status button, then the wireless button, the signal from Ineedbroadband should not be lower than 10% 3. To obtain a greater signal, try repositioning your antenna. Your e-mail account If you have been given an ineedbroadband e-mail address, you can access your e-mail via the ineedbroadband website. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
Go to www.ineedbroadband.co.uk (you can always get to our site logged in or not) Click member’s area> slide across to webmail, then click. Login using your full e-mail address as the username and your password. Select a mail reader (squire mail) If you prefer to use a mail reader program I.e. outlook/express you can find the set-up details under the help section on the ineedbroadband website.
Notes: Red Diag light will go out when the, modem has booted. Virtual Telephone adaptor: All three lights on after 1Min
