Westek Launches Smallest Rugged Conduction Cooled Computers Supporting the latest Intel® Core™ Series of multi-core processors with integrated graphics, Westeks latest conduction cooled fan-less computers are little bigger than the palm of your hand and operate from -20°C to +60°C. Manufactured from tough lightweight aluminium these tiny computers weigh less than 1.6Kg and are silent in operation and are just 47mm x 150mm x 170mm deep.

Both models feature the latest 4 generation Intel® i3 and i5 Core™ processors with up to 2.6GHz clock speed and up to 16GB RAM providing a versatile high performance computing platform in a very compact size. With conformal coated electronics and rugged build process these units are ideal for use in harsh environments subject to dust, shock and vibration as well as high and low temperatures and up to 95% humidity N/C. Both models provide multiple USB 3.0 support for the connection of high speed peripheral devices, as well as high definition graphics on HDMI and Display Port. An internal solid state disk (SSD) provides secure data storage and so with no moving parts the unit is able to operate reliably under shock and vibration conditions. Simple VESA compatible base mounting points are provided to allow the unit to be easily mounted in any orientation. The unit is DC powered with an external AC adapter if required. A wide range DC adapter is also available for 9 to 34V DC operation. These highly efficient low power systems typically consume less than 50Watts.
