Exam Preparation Successful candidates will have extensive experience with Avid Interplay Production. Although course attendance is not required to take the certification exam, Avid highly recommends candidates attend the course(s): • WG433 Avid Interplay System Support The WG433 course, with its hands on training, will help candidates build the skills and competencies required for certification. WG433 is a 5-day class in which participants spend four days learning to setup, install and configure the core components of an Interplay Production Asset Management (PAM) system and test a typical workflow. The participants then spend a ½ day reviewing and taking the exam in the classroom. Exam topics correlate with the skills and tasks required of an ACSR to install, configure and troubleshoot an Interplay PAM system. CERTIFIED       CERTIFIED Certification Path Avid Certified Support Representative | Interplay Production The certification path provides a defined process by which individuals can prepare for the certification exam and, by extension, the role of ACSR Interplay. It is designed to ensure that candidates have sufficient knowledge of and experience with the client and storage systems that will be connected to the Avid Interplay Production system they will be supporting. The recommended that candidates complete one of the following: • Certification as an Avid Certified Support Representative | ISIS 7500 • Certification as an Avid Certified Administrator | Interplay Administrator • Minimum 1 year as the primary Interplay Production system administrator Completing the recommended course(s), coupled with hands-on experience will help you build the skills and competencies needed to pass the certification exam. Course attendance is optional, however. If you feel you have considerable, realworld experience implementing, installing, administering and troubleshooting Avid Interplay PAM systems, then you may register and take the exam at any time. Next Steps: Once you achieve ACSR | Interplay Production, consider taking the course UN453 MediaCentral Support for certification as an ACSR | MediaCentral Platform. This is the next step toward the ACSR Elite certification.
