Use L-com’s SignDriver™ LDSDS-1000 Digital Signage Distribution System to get your message across to your customers. This rugged, high performance solution delivers crystal clear video content via Cat-X unshielded twisted pair cabling to video monitors up to 1,000-feet away from the source and supports video resolutions of up to 1600x1280@60hz. The core of the system is the LDSDS-1000 Cat-X Video Distribution Hub. This device is equipped with a standard VGA HD15-F connector which is attached to the video content host. Video information is then broadcasted simultaneously to the 4-RJ45 Category-X jacks. Use the VGA-HD15 Output port to cascade multiple hubs together to build a much larger system.

To attach the video displays to the system, simply connect a compact LDSDS-1000 Remote Interface Module to the monitor and the unshielded twisted pair cabling from the hub and you’re ready to start broadcasting content. The Remote Interface Module is also equipped with a second Cat-X RJ-45 connector to cascade or daisy chain multiple Remote Interface Modules. What bandwidth amplification do I need when splitting or extending my monitor? CMSV601-D
The chart below should help answer that question.There are two factors that mainly affect bandwidth. First, the resolution at which the monitor is to operate must be known (ex. 1024 x 768). Second, the required refresh rate in Hz (ex. 60 Hz), for acceptable display quality must also be known. Both settings are typically user adjustable. Start by selecting the refresh rate and intersect with the proper resolution column.
