What’s New in Simian 2.2.0? Simian 2.2.0 is the latest iteration of the Simian application. It contains numerous new and updated features, most notably: •
New FTP functionality: o
New simplified FTP macro – Now, a single FTP macro will take care of all your connection, GET/PUT, disconnection tasks. Multiple concurrent FTP tasks will automatically queue, so all your automated FTP tasks are simplified.
o
HTML Generator now has automatic FTP function – Each HTML Generator now has the ability to automatically upload your web page as soon as it is updated to your FTP site without any further macros or third party FTP applications.

New HD deck/mixer fading – Now, fade outs/ins are more precise and fluid with floating point precision. Heavily processed and expanded HD music stations will notice better sounding fade outs and Voice Track ducking.

Improved Voice Track Editor – It’s easier to use, and now has ducking in preview playback!

…and last but not least, optional Simian Gateway** to support Simian Remote clients!

Remote Voice Tracking!
Both the iPad and PC Simian Remote clients have advanced Remote Voice Tracking functionality. The Simian Remote clients connect to your Simian Pro 2.2.0 host via the Simian Gateway application. When you load the Voice Track Editor on the Simian Remote clients, you can configure them to automatically download a highly compressed version of the intro and segue portions of the songs that surround your voice track. The Simian Gateway automatically creates the intro/segue files and uploads them to your Simian Remote Client on the spot. With this functionality, you can fully preview and the set cross-over points between your ending song, your voice track, and the next song. In other words, creating voice tracks from a remote location is not a limited feature; it has the full functionality of Simian 2.2 Pro’s Voice Track Editor at your fingertips!
