eB2 WHEN ELECTRIC IS ALSO A MATTER OF STYLE Askoll presents the new eB2, the pedal-assisted bicycle with masculine good looks Askoll, the leading producer and distributor of a range of Italian-made electric vehicles, launches the eB2, the new pedal-assisted bicycle designed specifically for men. Following the success of eB1, launched in 2015, the Vicenza-based company is keen to reassert its role as leader in the sustainable mobility sector with a product designed to satisfy the demands of a male target. Designed for urban cyclists, and especially for all those men who have embraced cycling as an essential part of their lifestyle, the new eB2 is the perfect choice for getting around town unhindered. More environmentally friendly, faster and designed to effortlessly zip past those endless urban traffic jams. Manoeuvrable, eco-friendly and stylish, the eB2 pedal-assisted model is a city bike with sleek, minimalist design, enhanced with sophisticated details like topstitching on the saddle and handlebar grips, ergonomically designed brake levers that conceal a high-tech braking system and a user interface on the handlebar. A technologically innovative product characterised by design that is carefully studied to guarantee optimum performance. The 250 W brushless electric motor delivering 50 Nm torque is integrated in the front hub and is powered by a lithium-ion battery, fitted up front to ensure excellent stability and make the vehicle extremely manageable and nimble. The battery, which can be removed with the greatest of ease, has a capacity of 300 Wh, weighs just 1.5 Kg and can be charged in just over three hours by plugging into any household electricity socket, at a cost of 0.05€. It allows you to get around at a maximum speed of 25 Km/h and guarantees a 100 km range. The eB2 has an aluminium ergonomic frame, weighs just 22 kg and is fitted with 28 inch wheels. Thanks to the automatic transmission and four assistance levels, getting around town on the Askoll pedal-assisted bicycle couldn't be simpler, but it's also the ideal choice for out-of-town jaunts, allowing you to tackle hills and longer distances with ease. Fully customisable to suit individual styles thanks to the different colour combinations the frame in gunmetal-grey can be paired with mudguards in olive green, yellow or red - and the vast range of accessories.
