Since its inception in 1978, White Sands Engineering has grown to become one of the largest manufacturers of custom coaxial cable assemblies in the United States. White Sands, a division of TVC Communications, provides cable assemblies for the cable television, satellite, broadcast, telecom, home theater and security industries, as well as custom connectivity products for OEM and defense customers. WSE innovative one piece connectors can be terminated quickly and reliably in just 15 seconds. Our design features a beryllium copper spring seizing mechanism inside the fixed contact which securely captures the conductor – similar to the BNC plug-jack interface. This unique design allows connectors to be installed and tested prior to crimping, saving time and materials.
In addition, our one-piece compression connectors include a viewing window to confirm that braid is visible, which ensures proper insertion prior to termination. On hex crimp connectors, verify that the braid is completely covered by connector prior to crimping. See Tool Chart (page 23) for strip dimensions and crimp/compression tools for all of our connectors.

The small O.D. enables a 1.5” bend radius – ideal where space is at a premium. These cables meet SMPTE Broadcast Digital Standards (SDI). Available in 100’, 250’ and 1000’ spools.

Headend Connectivity Products Quad-Shield, 75 Ohm Mini RG59 (Legacy) Key applications for WSE Legacy, Mini RG59 quad shield coax cable and connectors include broadband routers and switching equipment where immunity to conducted disturbances is required, but space is limited. The quad-shield cable features a 100% bonded foil, 95% inner braid, 100% foil and 90% outer braid configuration. The conductor is solid 23 AWG copper. This cable is approved for use by Cisco on CMTS routers and exceeds the conducted RF immunity requirements of EN61000-4-6. Tooling & Accessories MiniMax Rolling Installer Bag With twice the storage space and extra pockets, the MiniMax Bag maximizes your ability to handle mini coax wiring in the field. The larger rolling bag with telescoping handle includes a compartment that holds two 250’ spools of mini RG59 cable or 50’ or 5-pack.
