The Go has a convenient USB socket that can charge your mobile phone wherever you go. The Go can charge your phone from its own battery, or when it’s connected to mains power. As well as the Standard Bluetooth CODEC (SBC), the Go also supports the higher quality Bluetooth – aptX – which sound even better and mean you can get the best possible results from your Bluetooth device. aptX Bluetooth allows you to squeeze the absolute maximum digital detail out of Bluetooth streaming. If your device supports aptX, then you’ll automatically get CDquality playback of high quality digital music, played back over the Bluetooth connection. Wired connections The Go also has a 3.5mm analogue audio input. TVs and laptops are becoming thinner and thinner, and often have very small and poor sounding speakers built into them. The analogue input on the Go allows you to connect an external source such as a TV and play its sound back through your Go in far higher quality than the TV’s own speakers. 123mm 237mm Most portable wireless speakers only provide low quality noise, but... • • The Go will easily pair with any Bluetooth device at the touch of a button. However, for faster and even simpler pairing, the Go also features NFC technology (Near Field Communications). NFC is a feature of many modern phones and tablets. If your phone or tablet supports NFC, you can simply touch your device to the logo on top of the Go for it to pair easily and automatically. Digital signal processing (DSP) allows us to get the biggest sound possible from the Go’s compact enclosure. The results are truly amazing and you’ll experience sound that’s louder, crisper and fuller than other portable systems. The Go features a rigid, acoustically optimised composite cabinet which is specifically designed to eliminate rattle and is available in beautiful satin black and satin white finishes. The Go will remember up to 8 different Bluetooth devices that it has been paired to, so each time you switch it on it will automatically pair with any of the last 8 devices that it was paired to. Maximise streaming services and apps Bring the Go’s stunning, superior audio quality to existing apps and streaming services via your phone, tablet or computer. Instantly and easily listen to popular services such as Spotify, Pandora or BBC iPlayer Radio played back in stunning quality through the Go. Our view A wealth of audio technologies The Go provides the best sound quality possible from a small unit, by using a high efficiency Class D digital amplifier to power twin 5.1cm (2’’) drivers and twin 19mm (0.75’’) titanium dome tweeters. Did You Know? Even easier to pair your phone and tablet The inside story • 3.5mm Aux input Despite offering room filling sound, the Go is a compact and great looking system. The Go has an environmental feature called Auto Power Down, or APD. To save energy and battery power, it will go to sleep after 30 minutes if it is not playing back any music. The Go challenges the traditional view of portable speakers: that they have no depth of sound or bass, by using a large rear-firing ABR (Auxiliary Bass Radiator) to provide similar levels of depth and low frequencies as many traditional bookshelf loudspeakers. USB to charge phones and other devices on the go Auxiliary Bass Radiator for enhanced depth and low frequencies Small, stylish and compact Did You Know? • Acoustically optimized composite cabinet Integrated high performance Bluetooth antenna with up to 10 meter range “I bought a Go for my flatmates and I to play in our kitchen. They were amazed when I switched it on; such big sound from such a compact product! And it can play from its rechargeable battery for hours so we use it in the garden for BBQs.” Joel – Marketing www.cambridgeaudio.com
