WiComm is a wireless serial device server, enabling serial devices to communicate on wireless LAN. With IEEE 802.11b/g wireless standard, maximum speed of up to 54Mbps can be achieved. Specialized security features make WiComm

industrial automation, building automation, medical devices, point of sale, any M2M or SCADA application with serial connectivity. Included Serial Port Emulator allows for an easy integration with existing serial communication applications.
Wireless Connectivity for Serial Devices
Features
Any serial device with RS232 interface can be connected to IEEE 802.11b/g wireless network, both in infrastructure and ad-hoc mode. Enterprise-Level Security Security features include access control lists, complete protocol enable/disable control, read and write configuration password, and SNMP community name configuration. Wireless security is guaranteed by various protocols including WEP, WPA, WPA2, PAP, MSCHAPv2, and 802.1x EAP with TTLS/LEAP/PEAP. Easy Management Built-in web browser interface is provided to help users with easy management and configuration. Console is also accessible via either Telnet or serial port for more sophisticated diagnostics and configurations. Rugged The enclosure made of rugged 18 gauge pre-plated galvanized steel with an IP40 industrial-grade rating. Side flange mounts allow for permanent installation on virtually any surface, or on a DIN rail with mounting bracket.
