7th AND 8TH GRADE HONOR’S BREAKFAST The annual Honors Breakfast is scheduled for Tuesday, May 30th at 7 a.m. in the cafetorium. Our cooking staff will be preparing breakfast for our honor students and their parents. We will honor all 7th and 8th graders who have received all A’s and B’s on their report card for two or more quarters. In order to keep this special for these students, we ask that only the honor students attend with their parents. Please make other arrangements for siblings. Invitations will be sent out in April. If you don’t receive one and think your child qualifies (all A’s and B’s in all subjects for at least two quarters), please contact Lisa Acton in the school office. It is an unintentional omission, and we apologize. We want you to attend!

The 2017 LCS Spring “Happy Camper” themed Scholastic Book Fair will be held Friday March 17- Thursday March 23rd (excluding the weekend) from 8am - 3:30pm. In addition, we are staying open late on Tuesday, March 21 from 8am - 7:30pm. The book fair is a wonderful opportunity for children to come to the library, explore and purchase books from Scholastic books. This spring, all students will also receive a free book courtesy of the book fair committee. As always, we are in need of volunteers to help with fair set up (March 16th), fair take down and pack up (March 24) and book sales (March 17 - March 23). Volunteering is a fun & easy way to be involved to help support the fair; in addition, all volunteers receive a discount off of book fair purchases. No experience necessary and we are very flexible with schedules. If interested, please sign up via SignUp.com: http://signup.com/go/qYkE88 or contact Tara Kozik at
