Wireless Printing at HPL We are pleased to offer wireless printing capability for our patrons who bring their own laptops, tablets and smartphones.
PROCEDURE: 1. Install the printer on your device 2. Print 3. Pick up and pay for your printout at the circulation desk
Color or Black & White When printing, pay close attention to whether you have selected a color or black & white copy. In many cases, the printer defaults to color. You will be charged for whatever comes out of the printer, so please be careful. Cost: .10 per page for black and white copies, .50 for color.
Printer Installation Guide Laptops PC (Windows 7 and 8) Note: you must have required permissions to install printer 1. Log in to Windows and connect to the Hershey Library 2 Wireless Network.
WIRELESS PRINTING AT HPL 2. On the Start Menu, select Devices & Printers / Add a Printer.
3. Select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.

WIRELESS PRINTING AT HPL 4. Windows will then search for available printers on the wireless network. This process generally lasts around a minute until all printers can be listed.
5. Under Printer name select: ECOSYS P6021cdn (Kyocera) at IP address 192.168.220.250. a. (When you first begin the search, you might see a printer labeled Kyocera:ECOSYS P6021cdn:HPLWiFiPrinter at address 192.168.220.250:5358/DeviceService: do not choose this printer) 6. Click Next This next section asks you to install the printer driver, the piece of software that will allow your computer to communicate with the printer.
7. In the manufacturer column, browse to and select Kyocera. 8. Under the printer column, select KX Driver for universal printing. a. If the driver does not appear in the list, click the Windows Update button. Windows will then download updated drivers. Be patient – this could take a couple of minutes. b. Once the list refreshes, repeat steps 7 and 8.

Mac OSX 1. Connect to the HPL wireless network. 2. On the dock, open System Preferences.
3. In the hardware category, open Print & Fax. 4. Click + to add a printer.

6. Select Kyocera ECOSYS P6021 cdn. 7. The Mac will select the appropriate printer driver.
8. Click Add to add the printer.

Smartphone or Tablet Printing from a Smartphone or Tablet requires a free app. Visit your OS-specific app repository (App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android) and search for Kyocera Mobile Print. Install the Kyocera Mobile Print app with your usual ID. After you install and launch the app, you can choose to print photos, documents or web pages. After you select an option, you will need to select ‘choose a device’ from the lower part of the screen. Use the Find Devices option to discover the Kyocera ECOSYS P6021 cdn on ip address 192.168.220.250. Choose Select and you are ready to go. Select an item from your device, then click print. You can then choose options such as color and black and white, paper orientation and number of copies.
