Ensure Reliability of Your Site Our Weather Proofing Enclosure Kits are designed to provide a longterm environmental seal for your cable and connector connections. Once installed, the Weather Proofing Enclosure applies a continuous compression seal around the coax diameter which prevents water from migrating into your connections, eliminating the need for timeconsuming and difficult to install butyl tape and mastics. Each kit is manufactured from UV and weather resistant, high-performance plastic which includes a proprietary gel to conform to current industry standard cables and connectors. These kits are designed to operate in severe climate applications which exceed the recommended temperature parameters for coaxial cable, i.e. -40° to +80° C. These Weather Proofing Enclosure Kits are tested per ASTM G-53 for UV stability using a UVA 340 fluorescent lamp for 1,000 hours. Each kit is also easily removed for test and inspection purposes by simply removing the included latch. All Weather Proofing Enclosure Kits are reusable, re-enterable, easy to install, and require no tools which will improve productivity and safety and reduce overall costs. Part Number
