WORK INSTRUCTION PosiChek3 upgraded to Posi3 USB Replacement of the Internal USB Cable Assembly REPLACING THE INTERNAL USB CABLE ASSEMBLY IN A POSI3 USB UPGRADE INSTRUMENT Replace the internal USB cable assembly BEFORE performing the firmware upgrade procedure. CAUTION: Live AC voltages are present inside the Posi3 USB. Always unplug the power cord before removing any side panels. 1. Turn off the Posi3 USB and unplug the power cord. 2. Remove six screws holding the left side panel and lay the panel down. 3. Unplug the USB cable from the PCB and remove it from the retaining clips. 4. Remove the hardware holding the internal USB cable assembly to the rear panel. 5. Use the same hardware to install the new USB cable assembly to the rear panel. 6. Plug the USB cable into the PCB and slide it into the retaining clips. 7. Replace the left side panel and secure with the six screws removed earlier.
