GROUND TRANSPORTATION:
45 minutes’ drive from KL International Airport to the hotel. Hotel can arrange airport transfer for arriving and departing guests. Hotel Airport Representatives will pick you up at the Airport as per your flight detail given to the hotel prior to arrival, at the rate specified in the Ground Transfer Form. Please return the completed Ground Transfer Form directly to Hilton Kuala Lumpur on Page 5.
PRE / POSTWORKSHOP ACCOMODATIONS:
The full registration fee includes one (1) nights’ accommodation: Check-in on Thursday, 13 August 2015; check-out on Friday, 14 August 2015. For early arrival and extended stay, a special discounted room rate of MYR501.40nett per room / night (approximately USD140.00nett) for Deluxe Room with single breakfast will be offered to the SPE Workshop registrants. Please return the completed Pre/Post Hotel Booking Form directly to the Hilton Kuala Lumpur for extra night accommodation, by 13 July 2015. Please note that charges for extra night accommodation, room upgrade and any incidental charges are to be paid by the registrant directly to the hotel prior to departure. Please note that SPE has made the reservation for all Workshop registrants on DELUXE ROOM.
MEALS:
Only registrants of the workshop will be permitted to dine within the designated area for SPE workshop attendees. Any accompanying guest must inform Ms Shea Li, SPE Event Coordinator at

PASSPORT AND VISA INFORMATION:
Visitors to Malaysia must be in possession of passports valid for at least six (6) months with proof of onward passage, either return or through tickets. Please check with your travel agent or the Malaysian Embassy on regulations relating to immigration/visa before your departure. Visa invitation letter can be obtained from SPE by completing your details on Page 8.
CLIMATE:
Kuala Lumpur’s climate can be described as equatorial, a pleasant mix of warm, sunny days and occasional cooling rain storms, with August through November being the wettest months generally with average temperature is around 21ºC to 32ºC.
CURRENCY:
The national monetary unit is Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Currently, US$1.00 is approximately MYR3.70. Foreign currency can be exchanged at the airport, local banks and hotels.
DRESS CODE:
Casual/smart clothing is recommended. The Workshop atmosphere is informal.
ELECTRICITY:
Power: 220 – 240 AC/DC Voltage. Several different plugs and sockets are in use, but two pin flat (US type) or round (European type) are universal. Adapters can be obtained at the hotel or purchased at local stores.
LANGUAGE:
Malay is the national language, but English is generally spoken.
TIME:
Kuala Lumpur is 8 hours ahead of GMT and is in the same time zone behind Hong Kong and Singapore.
