Stop dreaming, because this board really exists: TouchBoard Powered by MimioStudio is an infrared IWB designed for six contemporary touches, with an area of work in steel and supplied with the author software MimioStudio. TouchBoard powered by MimioStudio is available in two different sizes: 80 “ in 4:3 format and the extraordinary wide 88” in 16:10 format - more space for the teacher’s work and more visibility for students. TouchBoard powered by MimioStudio supports multi-touch and multi-gesture inputs (zoom in, zoom out, etc..) both with the flick of a finger as well as using any type of passive pointer. The author software MimioStudio, standard supplied, is a reference point in the field: simple to use, yet powerful and versatile, it is available for Windows, Mac and Linux, it supports the universal IWB format and is compatible with the lessons created with PowerPoint, Smart Notebook and Promethean ActivInspire. Furthermore, by downloading from the App Store or Google Play the free app MimioMobile, two users (eg. teacher and a student) can interact directly on the IWB from their own tablet / smartphone iOS or Android. It is possible to purchase separately the full license MimioMobile that allows to manage an unlimited number of student devices to create tests, both with closed and open response and collaborative activities.

MimioStudio Software The author MimioStudio software is designed to provide maximum freedom and flexibility to the school, teachers and students. The IWB TouchBoard powered by MimioStudio MimioStudio is accompanied by a single user license. This license allows the installation of software copyright in the “Full” version on 1 computers. The license is permanent, it must not be renewed and entitles to get all updates released by Mimio over time. The license requires that every 15 days the computer is connected to the Internet for validation. To use MimioStudio at home (for example, to prepare lessons by teachers or by students to review them) you can download free MimioStudio “Home” version from the site mimio.com. The “Home” version does not include presentation tools that are used in the classroom, but it is more than enough to prepare a lesson, revise or modify it*. MimioStudio integrates perfectly with all the tools of the MimioClassroom family. This means that, at a time when the school wants to upgrade its technological equipment with other instruments Mimio (MimioCapture, MimioView MimioVote MimioPad etc.), it will not be necessary to install a new software. Thanks to MimioStudio, all new devices are recognized instantly and you’re ready to work. In addition, the User MimioStudio license includes the ability to handle two iOS or Android devices via the free application MimioMobile (downloadable from the App Store or Google Play) to interact with the IWB tablet / smartphone, with the possibility, for example, to pass on the control of the activity to a student’s device. The license MimioMobile complete to work with an unlimited number of student devices and manage student team work and evaluation moments is sold separately.
What are the strengths of MimioStudio 11? > MimioStudio 11 allows to opens directly the lessons created and saved in Microsoft PowerPoint (. Ppt and. Pptx), maintaining the editability of the various objects. The animations, multimedia files and hyperlinks remain active and running > With MimioStudio 11 it is possible to associate an action with any object on the page: fade, movement etc..
