DIP Switch Setting For FR1200 Device ID
#2 FR1200
#3 FR1200
#4 FR1200
Important Notes 1. There are six DIP switches on the back of FR1200 , Switches 1-4 is for RS485 address , switch 5 is reserved , switch 6 is for reducing noise on long RS485 cable. 2. Set the odd number for IN reader, and the even number for OUT reader(for eg. For two readers for one door- the RS485 address 1 is for IN reader, RS485 address 2 is for OUT reader ) 3. If FR1200 is powered from Inbio260 panel ,the length of wire should be less than 100 meters or 330 ft. 4. The External RS485 interface can supply maximum 500mA current , The FR1200’s startup current is 240mA. So Inbio260 only can only power two FR1200s. 5. If the cable length is more than 200 meters or 600 ft , the number 6 switch should be ON as below Distance More than 200 meters

Ethernet Connection Important Notes:
TCP/IP
1. Both 10Base-T and 100Base-T are supported 2. The cable length must be less than 100 meters or 330 ft.
ZK4500 Enrollment reader CR10 Card Issuer
3. For more than 100 meters , please use HUB to amplify the signal
The CR10 and ZK4500 are connected to the server using USB connection.
Direct connection To connect Inbio260 with a PC directly, connect both devices with a straight network cable. As the Inbio260 supports auto MDI/MDIX , it is not necessary to use a crossover type cable.

RS485 Connection
#63 Inbio260
#1 Inbio260
Important Notes
Do's and Dont's for RS 485 connection
1. RS485 communication wires should be a shielded or twisted pair cable. RS485 communication wires should be connected in a bus cascade instead of a star form, to achieve a better shielding effect by reducing signal reflection during communications. 2. A single 485 bus can be connected with 63 access control panels at the most, but preferably less than 32 panels should be connected. 3. To eliminate signal attenuation in communication cables and suppress interference, if the bus is longer than 200 meters, set the number 8 DIP switch to the ON position. This is equivalent to a parallel connection of one 120ohm resistance between the 485+ and 485- lines. Distance More than 200 meters #1 Inbio260

DIP Switch Setting Introduction
RS485 Address 1. Number 1-6 are reserved to set the device number for RS485 communication. The code is binary, and the numbering starts from left to right. When the switch is set to ON position, it indicates 1 (on); when the switch is set downwards, it indicates 0 (off). For example, to set a device number 39=1+2+4+32, which corresponds to the binary code 111001, put number 1, 2, 3, and 6 to ON position, as illustrated below.
2. For more details, please check the table at the end of this document
Restore factory setting
Terminal Resistance
1. If you forget the inBio IP address or the device does not work normally, you can use the number 7 terminal to restore inbio260 to factory default settings. The parameters which gets reset are device IP address, communication password ,gateway ,subnet mask. 2. The switch is OFF by default. When it is moved upwards and downwards for three times within 10 seconds and finally returned to OFF position, the factory settings will be restored after the access control panel is restarted.
1. Number 8 is for setting the RS485 termination resistance. Putting the switch to ON position is equivalent to parallel connection of a 120ohm termination resistance between 485+ and 4852. As shown in diagram below, for more info please read RS485 connection important notes

Troubleshooting 1.
Fingerprint can not be read well or it takes too long. Check whether a finger or fingerprint sensor is stained with sweat, water, or dust Retry after cleaning the finger and fingerprint sensor with dry cloth. If a finger is way too dry, rub your finger on the palm and retry. Try to reset fingerprint sensor by pressing the reset button at the bottom of the reader
2. Fingerprint is matched but authorization keeps failing. Check whether the user’ access is restricted. Inquire with administrator whether the enrolled fingerprint has been deleted from the device for some reason. 3. How Many kinds of WEIGAND format can be supported. The panel is set to read 26 bit by default. However there are 9 other bit formats which can be selected from the software. In addition you can also define your custom bit format. 4.
How many verification modes can be support. Card Only Fingerprint Only Password Only Card plus fingerprint Card plus password Card or fingerprint
