Features Frequency Determination Flexibility RF output center frequency is adjustable within a range of ±10MHz from center frequency with full digital modulation.
Ideal I/Q Balance Full digital modulation enables ideal I/Q modulation, reducing I/Q imbalance and I/Q phase imbalance to almost zero.
Lifetime Extension The lifetime can be extended through mechanical modifications. (Some mechanical specifications will change.)
Deep Space Band Protection Our modulator is compliant with the criteria to protect the deep space network band established by the ITU. Emissions in the band can be cut by the high attenuation filter mounted in the final stage of the RF output line.
Future Prospects Full digital modulation makes it possible to increase the data rate up to 1000 Mbps with no electrical design changes. Even higher data rate operation is currently being tested.
Data Transmission Subsystems NEC provides data transmission payloads featuring a variety of frequencies, output power characteristics, and redundancy. We design and manufacture every component on the data transmission payload, and perform assembly, adjustment and testing in our own facilities.
