Make sure the cables are properly connected and that there is power to the X-WAV Antenna and the EnGenius EOC1650. 2. Ensure that the X-WAV antenna is properly positioned. The antenna should be facing the direction of the area to be covered with a minimum of 2 feet (.6 meters) with no obstructions in front of the antenna. Luxul wireless signals are superior for penetrating wood, concrete, and stucco, but all wireless signals can be disrupted by certain obstructions, including large metal objects. Try orienting the antenna where more line-of-sight access to the desired coverage area is available. The X-WAV™ Outdoor Wi-Fi Range Extender Antenna Kit features a high gain directional antenna. Remember to consider the direction of the signal when positioning the X-WAV™ Antenna. The signal extends outward, away from the front of the antenna. Use diagram 2 below for suggestions on positioning your X-WAV™ Outdoor Antenna Kit for maximum Wi-Fi coverage. NOTE: Disconnect all power before connecting or disconnecting any cables, coax or antennas to or from this device. Failure to do so will void your warranty. SETTING UP YOUR X-WAV™ OUTDOOR WI-FI RANGE EXTENDER ANTENNA KIT Connecting the EnGenius EOC1650 to the Antenna (diagram 1) 1. Remove the connector cover on the back of the EOC1650 to access the antenna switch labeled INT - EXT 2. Set the switch to EXT to use the External Antenna port 3. Connect the RP-SMA end of the coax cable to the external antenna connector on the top of the EOC1650 4.
