x7 143 to 212 Engine HP New McCormick X7 Series , innovative design to maximize comfort, convenience and perfor mance “Your New Field Office” MULTI-FUNCTION ARMREST Fully integrated into the seat frame, it accommodates the main tractor functions. Controls are arranged and color coded for easy identification, reach and operation. DIGITAL INSTRUMENT PANEL Interactive display keeps the operator informed of the tractor’s performance. Operator can adjust tractor setting on-thego as needed. Dash moves with steering wheel for better visibility. CAB ROOF Automatic climate controls are conveniently built into a molded roof console. A transparent roof hatch provides extra visibility for loader operations. Proven Betapower ENGINE scr Technology X7 Series tractors boast reliable Betapower diesel engines to deliver power and performance. 6-cylinder models feature a heavy cast steel front frame for durability. The Betapower engines use proven SCR technology to meet EPA Tier 4i emissions requirements. SCR is an after-treatment, where DEF is injected into the exhaust stream to help clean emissions. The engine is tuned for power, performance and efficiency. MAINTENANCE The tilt-up hood provides easy access to the engine for routine service and maintenance. The radiators pivot outwards to provide full access for easy cleaning. DRIVER SEAT AND ‘HIDE AWAY’ BUDDY SEAT The driving seat features a deluxe airsuspension system that can be optionally equipped with heating and ventilation. Passengers can also travel in comfort thanks to the large, cushioned buddy seat, which neatly folds away to allow easier and safer access to the spacious cab. "Betapower performance” Power and Torque for the Toughest Demands X7 Series New “Pro Drive” transmission with AutoPowerShift "The right speed for every application." Key features and benefits › 40 forward speeds + 40 reverse speeds with standard creeper Wide range of working speeds › AutoPowerShift: Simple to drive › Power shuttle with response modulation - Smooth Operation › All transmission controls grouped in a single location - Convenience of control › Push-button shifting of gears and ranges - Simple operation › ‘ECO’ mode reduces engine RPM at transport speed (25 mph) (40 kph) - Saves fuel › Patented ”My Switch” button activates up to 4 functions with just one switch - Convenience p C A Left Hand POWER SHUTTLE A convenient left hand power shuttle lever (fig. A) allows the operator to easily change direction without having to use the foot clutch. MULTI-FUNCTION Controller (FIG. C) Integrated into the right-hand armrest, the Multi-Function Controller places most major tractor funtions within easy reach for convenient, push-button operation. The operator has full control of the ‘PRO DRIVE’ transmission, including shifting through all gears and ranges without using the clutch pedal. Shuttle response is adjustable on-the-go from the right hand armrest. The Multi-Function Controller incorporates our unique patented ‘My Switch’ button (P) that allows the operator to control four different functions with a single thumb button: AutoPowerShift (APS); differential lock; 4WD; and de-clutch. AUTOPowerSHIFT Allows the tractor to shift automatically to select the right gear for the application. Also built into the Multi-Function Controller are additional buttons to control the rear 3-point hitch, engine speed memory, single rear remote valve and headland management. ADDITIONAL fUNCTIONS • Range skip shifting - The operator can shift ranges for quick, large speed changes. The AutoPowerShift (APS) feature automatically upshifts and downshifts based on engine speed and load. When the engine lugs down under load, the transmission will downshift automatically to maintain power to the wheels. As the load decreases, the transmission will upshift just like a car with an automatic transmission. The operator can adjust the system's settings on-the-go (ECO or POWER) using the APS dial in the armrest (fig. B). • Speed Matching - The transmission automatically selects the appropriate gear and range for the current speed. • Shuttle Modulation Control - Allows the operator to set how aggressively the tractor shifts gears and changes direction when using the power shuttle lever. b X7 Series REAR PTO The X7 range is designed to operate in a variety of conditions with heavy, power-demanding implements. The PTO (fig. A) offers four speeds with a driveline designed for minimal power loss and maximum productivity. Simple fingertip switches and an electro-hydraulic wet disc clutch provide smooth engagement of the PTO (P) (fig. C), for soft implement start-ups. External controls on the rear fenders allow the operator to control the PTO, 3-point, and one rear remote valve from the ground (fig. D). AUTO PTO FUNCTION The ‘Auto’ PTO feature automatically engages and disengages the PTO based on 3-point hitch position. This reduces implement driveline damage and gives the operator precise control of the implement during headland turns (fig. C). p s A b c d e Hydraulics built for performance P.F.C. LOAD-SENSING HYDRAULIC SYSTEM The closed-center system with variable-displacement pump delivers the quantity of oil that the application requires, instantly and on demand. The system supplies up to 32.5 gpm (123 lpm) to the hitch and remote valves. ELECTRONICALLY-OPERATED REAR HITCH With the raise/lower control (S) (fig. B) conveniently located on the Multi-Function Controller, the rear hitch guarantees precise implement operation. The Category 3 rear 3-point hitch has a maximum lift capacity of 20,500 lb (9300 kg) at the ball ends, and is equipped with lower link draft sensing to handle precise tillage work with ease. REMOTE VALVES All models can be equipped with up to 5 rear remote valves for controlling implements and attachments (a 6th front valve comes with front 3-point hitch). Simple fingertip and push-button controls make operation convenient and precise. An available mini joystick controls the front lift and front remote valve. FRONT HITCH AND PTO Available as an option, the front hitch and PTO can drive front implements to increase versatility. Control switches at the front allow the operator to raise and lower the hitch for easier implement hook up (fig. F). f AUTOMATIC 4WD AND DIFFerential LOCK ENGAGEMENT FOR EASY HEADLAND TURNING All X7 models are equipped with a heavy duty 4wd front axle as well as front AND rear fully locking differentials to maximize traction. The operator can engage these features manually, or automatically using the "Auto" buttons, or through the headland mangement system (fig. H). g h Versatility, traction and comfort CAB AND INDEPENDENT FRONT Axle SUSPENSION Each X7 model can be equipped with a hydraulic front axle suspension system that improves both traction and ride comfort (fig. F). The system pushes the front tires into the ground to maintain constant traction and pulling power in all conditions, improving field performance. The operator can turn the system on and off with a simple button in the cab. The optional cab suspension system (fig. G) uses a combination of electro-hydraulics and pneumatic accumulators to dampen bumps for a softer, more comfortable ride. rear Bar Axle Kit This optional kit is easy to install and lets the customer configure the tractor with a rear bar axle to meet the needs of the application.
