IMPORTANT REMARKS 1. This version of Xedio Dispatcher is released for bug fixes only. No new features are integrated in the software. 2. Xsquare Suite 3.01.82 is installed together with this version of Xedio Dispatcher. 3. At the end of the installation process, an automatic reboot is always launched (without any confirmation), so please make sure all your running applications are shutdown before launching the Xedio Dispatcher installer. 4. Xedio Dispatcher cannot be installed together with XFile3 and/or XFlyStreamer (on the same machine).

FEATURES REACHING END OF LIFE XEDIO RELEASE SUPPORT Technical assistance and support for Xedio Dispatcher release < 4.03 is no longer available. Technical assistance and support for Xedio Dispatcher release 4.03 will no longer be available after the 31st December 2014.

KNOWN BUGS & IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS -

Before installing Xedio Dispatcher, please make sure o the UAC (User Account Control) is disabled. o the workstation is configured in a Workgroup and not in a domain. o Have same language set for the OS and the OS language settings. Before installing Xedio Dispatcher and if you’re not upgrading from a version of Xedio Dispatcher <= 4.03 or Xsquare then make sure Microsoft SQL Server is not already installed on this machine. In this case, we recommend to uninstall MSSQL locally. If you need to keep MSSQL, please contact
[email protected] Xedio Dispatcher must be installed as local Windows administrator. XDCAM and/or P2 drivers must be installed on the Xedio Dispatcher workstation or laptop. It’s recommended to close all other applications (especially all EVS applications) before starting the Xedio Dispatcher installation. When browsing, clipping and storyboarding over XDCAM disk (using i.Link) MUST be performed on Proxy only (not on HiRes). The export of shots, sub-clips or storyboards made from XDCAM disk (using i.Link or USB interface) is always slower than real-time (e.g. for DV25 -> between 5 and 7 times slower than real-time). It is recommended not to install Xedio Dispatcher 4.x on a machine running (or already installed) any module from CleanEdit[Suite] 3.x (or below). It is recommended not to install Xedio Dispatcher on a machine running IPDirector. If you want to do it, please contact
[email protected] . The rendering process in AVI should not create files exceeding 2GB (4 minutes in DVCPRO50 and 8 minutes in DV25 or DVCPRO25 formats). Incompatibilities (windows blue screen) have been observed between the Audio Guide Track recording feature and some Dell webcams (using a Creative audio drive, driving the embedded microphone). Driver update doesn’t solve the problem. In this case, you’ve to deinstall the webcam software. If you need a microphone, you’ll need to use another external microphone (mic input). Export cannot be done while playing a Storyboard or a clip. The software is designed to support simultaneously a maximum of 200 storybords of 100 clips each.
