1. Remova os dois parafusos que seguram a lixeira e o reservatório de toner juntos, como mostrado.
2. Lixeira separada.
3. Remova o pino próximo do rolo revelador no lado sem engrenagem do cartucho.
4. Utilizando uma chave de fenda, levante a lâmina dosadora de um dos lados do cartucho, como mostrado.

5. Levante e remova a lâmina dosadora.
6. Remova os dois parafusos de fixação do rolo revelador do lado sem engrenagem do cartucho.
7. O suporte do rolo revelador já removido.
8. Suporte do rolo revelador do lado sem engrenagem com a arruela presa.

9. Remova os três parafusos do lado das engrenagens, como mostrado.
10. Remova a tampa lateral do lado das engrenagens.
11. Remova o chip, como mostrado. Será substituído por um novo Smartchip ao final da remanufatura.
12. Remova a engrenagem preta externa, como mostrado.

14. Engrenagens removidas.
15. Remova os dois parafusos da peça de suporte do rolo revelador do lado das engrenagens.
16. Suporte do rolo revelador do lado das engrenagens removido.

17. Levante e retire o rolo revelador da forma apresentada na foto.
18. Utilizando um alicate de bico fino, retire a tampa de enchimento do lado sem engrenagem do cartucho. Você agora está pronto para esvaziá-lo e limpar o reservatório.
19. Agite levemente o cartucho para retirar o toner restante.
20. Limpe todo o cartucho utilizando ar comprimido ou aspirador de toner. Insira 255 gramas de toner para uso em Xerox WorkCentre 4118 e monte novamente o cartucho seguindo os passos aqui descritos na ordem reversa. Antes de reinstalar a tampa lateral do lado das engrenagens, encaixe o novo Smartchip e verifique se está bem fixo no local.
