Introduction SUNIX DevicePort® product is network-attached USB & RS-232 hubs that enables the mixing of USB and serial peripheral devices remoted connect to a Windows based PC/Tablet over a Local Area Network. Relocating the host PC/Tablet to a remote location translates to smaller workstations, enabling deployment without a local PC in kiosks, ATMs, restaurant kitchens, manufacturing lines or any hostile or non-secure area where having a local PC is not practical. SUNIX DevicePort® built-in DPL2000Q High-Performance Ethernet-UART controller and exclusive I/O Redirection Technology. SUNIX DevicePort® creates physical USB and COM ports in system with real time data communication features. User can access USB and serial peripheral devices easily without complicated software configuration. SUNIX XPW4413D0 is one of product within DevicePort® product family that is designed for retail POS application. With four Powered USB (24V & 12V) and four RS-232 ports, user can easily attach USB and serial channels with your Windows Tablet or small form factor desktop over Ethernet network. By connecting to standard Wi-Fi router, all connected devices go to wireless solution. SUNIX DevicePort® is the best and creative solution for commercial automation and retail POS applications.
Note: SUNIX iDevicePort® USB channel is compatible with bulk or interrupt type USB devices such as bar-code scanners, printers, fingerprint scanners, pole displays, card readers, and more. USB disk and Isochronous USB devices are not supported (e.g. USB-Audio/Video devices).
