The new standard USB-C is set to become the new standard. Designed to replace the different connectors currently used in mobile devices, all devices will have one and the same USB port; Type C. As a result, transferring power, data, video and audio will no longer require different cables and ports. USB-C charges faster USB-C works 1.5 times faster than the USB connectors mostly used now, such as the ‘normal’ type A and micro USB. The power transfer rate between two devices is therefore much higher. This reduces the charging time not only of the Power Bank itself but also of mobile devices. More user friendly A USB-C port is bi-directional. This means that one and the same USB-C port can be used to charge the Power Bank itself and to supply power to mobile devices. What's more, a USB-C cable is reversible, so it doesn't matter how it is inserted into the device.
