The YMCKH ribbon has been designed to enable Evolis retransfer printers to use various card substrates other than PVC, among them Polycarbonate (PC), PET-G and ABS. Ribbon Shelf Life: • Up to 1 year after purchase, if stored in a cool, dry environment and having remained unopened from the original packaging. • Storage temperature between 5-25°C (41-77° F) and at RH between 35-65%. • Once opened, lifetime of 6 months, if stored under cool, dry conditions. • Avoid dust and direct sunlight.
The YMCKH ribbon consists of a full color ribbon (YMC) and a black resin (K) with an additional Heat Seal (H) panel:

The Heat Seal (H) panel is a special coating that is applied after the Y, M, C, K panels to enable the good transfer of the printing on the card with uneven surface. This genuine ribbon is designed to work in the Avansia printers and promises to print 400 cards one side. This supply uses our RFID system which recognizes automatically the type of ribbon installed in the printer, enhances performance and improves printing quality.
