Z1 Appliance The best platform for the efficient operation of all Z1 Server Products Zertificon Appliances are complete systems for efficient and smooth operating of Z1 Server Products based on Intel architecture. They are IPv6 ready and available as hardware or virtual Z1 Appliances. They come with their own administration software and are directly connected to the Zertificon Appliance Service‘s maintenance server. Z1 Appliances enable a very easy and economically efficient operation of Z1 Server Products in all common IT infrastructures.

… with the utmost ease of use – right from the start: The installation is easily performed just by the use of the USB flash drive that contains the installation image and the initial configurations. There is no need for keyboard or screen and there is no particular IT-knowledge necessary!
The Z1 Appliance Management Software comes with an easy to use web interface. You have immediate access to all important system information and the administration. The „Professional“ edition transforms formerly tricky, time consuming, tedious and error-prone administration tasks like network and backup configuration, running software updates and security fixes to just a few clicks.
Z1 Appliance Security A hardened operating system paired with an onboard firewall system guarantee the appliance‘s system security. Only approved admin computers have permission to access defined ports or services - encrypted and authenticated access only (HTTPS/SSH).
With the „Enterprise“ edition additional features are provided with the same level of usability: SNMP and extended firewall configuration, remote backup functions and an easy cluster management.
Virtual Appliance „SMA V“ With a Z1 Virtual Appliance you get all the advantages of the Z1 Appliance. It is the optimal solution if you run a modern virtual infrastructure based on VMware or Xen.
Z1 Appliance Support The established Zertificon in-house support covers the complete Z1 Appliance system.
